Tiffany is the former Head of Public Participation for the UK Government, the first role of its kind in the UK, and was based in Cabinet Office and COI. She was responsible for ensuring the UK government made measurable progress in how it engaged with the public online in order to deliver better public services. She launched data.gov.uk working with Sir Tim Berners-Lee, and was the first Director of Communications for Directgov. She was responsible for training all civil servants to build digital capability. She developed the digital training strategy for Government and the UK Governments first holistic digital training provision.
She advises the Speaker of the House of Commons on Public Engagement to make democracy and the House more meaningful to people in the UK today and is a Special Advisor to the British Interactive Media Association.
Tiffany is a digital strategist, trainer and international speaker, advising government and industry through her agency Stimulation to evolve greater digital competency. She aligns corporate objectives and digital people skills with her knowledge of evolving technology. Stimulation’s client list includes Cabinet Office, Channel 4, COI, Guardian.co.uk, Marketing Agencies Association, Panasonic, Sony and Vodafone.
Her causes are to support and nurture talent through greater digital capability which she undertakes being an advisor to BIMA, as Head of Communications for Rewired State, the open data champions nurturing young developer talent, and supporting One Young World, the premier global forum of young people with proven leadership calibre.
