Neville Walker Speaks About Intellectual Property at the Room Upstairs

Neville Walker from IP Consult, will be speaking about the Challenge of Commercialising Intellectual Property at the Room Upstairs Executive event at Browns Covent Garden on Tuesday 24th July from 12.30pm until 2.30pm. There are still a few places left and we’d love it if you could join him.

Although Copyright and Patent law is not a new concept, Intellectual Property only dates back to the 1800s. Under intellectual property law, owners have certain exclusive rights to various markets; to various machines, musical, literary, and artistic works; to discoveries and inventions; and to applications.

The challenge is to define your IP, whether and how to protect it, and to judge the cost and time involved against the ultimate value of the protection.

The Room Upstairs is a networking event aimed at providing business and professional men and women, who want to develop their contacts, with a business-like environment that allows them to convert contacts into relationships. Numbers are limited strictly to 30 guests.

Like-minded business owners and senior executives are welcome. However, please let us know if you intend to bring a guest, with their name and contact details. All bookings need to be confirmed by deadlines detailed below.

Cost: The cost for the meeting is £50, payable online via PayPal or by BACS, full details online when you register here.
