Oli Barrett MBE – Entrepreneur
MC: Oli is a regular MC and speaker at events around the world and brought speed-networking to the UK. He is a co-founder of social innovation agency Cospa, helping companies and causes to create and grow ventures which make money and make a difference.
Oli’s entrepreneurial career started as a student and has included an events business in nine cities, an international language practice website (sold in 2008) and a sock subscription website which continues to ship internationally. He is an advisor to the Centre for Entrepreneurs and co-founded the national, business-funded campaign StartUp Britain.
He started Tenner (now run by Young Enterprise), the scheme which has challenged over 150,000 school pupils to see what they can achieve in one month, starting with £10.
He has led trade missions to the US, India and Brazil helping British companies (in health, clean-tech and web) to explore business opportunities.

Jennifer Arcuri – Co-Founder, Hacker House™
Keynote Speaker: Jennifer co founder of Hacker House™ the official cyber campus of cyber skills and security innovation. Launched at the top of 2016, the team of Hacker House™ has opened a secure location outside Manchester and Shoreditch in East London. Hacker House™ operates as a commercial and social force to champion ethical hacking standards. Hacker House™ is set to launch a series of security products by the end of 2016 – including a set of cyber badges to be accredited for schools in educating kids in ethics around hacking in cyber hygiene.
Jennifer is an advisor to Hackers and Founders in Silicon Valley, and Founders for Schools across the UK. In June 2015, Jennifer also launched the Cyber Security group, Cyber TLA, as part of Tech London Advocates Group, and is now a certified ethical hacker herself. Jennifer is also founder of PinkSheet Database, the official database of professional women.

Leo Ryan – Spredfast
Immersive Workshop: Leo is the EMEA VP of Customer Solutions at Spredfast, a social software company where he helps customers make the most of the opportunities that social can provide to create better connections with their customers.
With a total of 20 years working in digital in New York, Sydney and London Previously Leo spent 5 years at Ogilvy where he lead the global social strategy for Land Rover and Unilever. His last role was Global Head of Innovation and partnerships for social@Ogilvy. He has been a NED for the National Gallery Company for the past eight years.
In this interactive workshop Leo will take participants through a series exercises to help them uncover opportunities to engage with their audience across the different stages of the customer journey. There will be some cursing, some tears, no power point and lots of fast and loose social media strategy done on the fly.
Sacha Romanovitch – CEO, Grant Thornton
Keynote speaker: Led by her deep interest in the role of leadership in dynamic organisations and how a strong coaching culture releases potential and generates growth. Sacha’s goal is to work to shape a vibrant economy where all can flourish – through who Grant Thornton work with, the work they do, what they speak out on and how they are as a business.
Prior to this she was a member of the firm’s National Leadership Board with specific responsibility for People and Culture. With more than 4,500 people in the UK, she seeks to create an environment with space for their people to do their best thinking and bring valuable insights to help their clients grow. Sacha also led their Advisory practice within London.

Richard Mulholland – Entrepreneur
Keynote speaker: Richard kicked off his career as a rock n roll roadie, operating lights for bands such as Iron Maiden and Def Leppard. From there he started SA’s largest presentation firm, Missing Link and co-founded 21Tanks, SA’s first perspective lab.
Richard is a highly regarded speaker. When not addressing many of South Africa’s top corporations, he guest lectures on courses for The Cape Graduate School of Business (GSB), and the Gordon Institute of Business Science (GIBS). Tiffany St James – Founder, Transmute

John Courtney – Chairman, Stockwood Ventures.
Panelist: John is highly ranked in both the “Top 100 Digital Influencers” (Directors Centre) and also “Top 100 UK Entrepreneurs” (City AM) lists. He is the Chairman of Stockwood Ventures.
John has founded, grown and exited six businesses in 35 years. His most recent, Strategy Digital, grew to being a 50 person search, content marketing, PR and social media agency and clients included TUI Group, Thomsonlocal, Lloyds Banking Group and Scotts of Stow.
Since exiting his digital marketing business, John has excelled as a Non-Executive Director and Mentor helping businesses with Microsoft Ventures, HRH Prince Andrew’s Pitch@Palace, MassChallenge and Entrepreneurial Spark including his son James’s Lux Rewards.
John is also the Regional Director for The Marketing Centre, which provides part-time Marketing Directors to ambitious SME’s.
Katz Kiely – CEO & Founder, Kiely&Co
Keynote Speaker: Katz is Founder and CEO of Kiely & Co. An award winning digital pioneer, she has driven organisational change for companies like BBC, HP and GSK for nearly 20 years. Her “people-powered” approach combines open-innovation, co-creation, multi-disciplinary design and distributed live events. She has led behaviour change projects for some of the world’s most complex and risk-averse organisations.

Tom Salmon – Founder, The Bakery
Keynote Speaker:Tom is co-founder and CEO of The Bakery, an ‘open-innovationt accelerator’, which helps large corporates accelerate innovation, take new technology to market and be more entrepreneurial by partnering with early stage startups.
The Bakery has worked with clients including Unilever, Persil, Sunlight, Knorr, Barclays, BMW, Danone, Panasonic, Heinz, Camelot, RBS, Natwest, Macmillan, ABInbev, Walls and Pernod Ricard and has built an extensive global network of over 5,000 early stage startups and accelerated over 60 new innovative technologies to market.
Previously – after a brief career in the music industry, being signed to Warners and EMI and nominated for a Mercury Music Prize – Tom was the founder of the award winning agency digital agency Traffic, through which his passion for technology and early stage companies grew – and realising that there was a better way for large corporates to take new technology to market.
Nicole Yershon – Founder, Ogilvy Digital Innovation Labs
Fireside Chat: Nicole Yershon cut her teeth at GGT, working for advertising legend, author and D&AD Presidents Award winner Dave Trott. During that time, Campaign Magazine voted GGT its ‘Agency of the Year’, while Ad Age named it the ‘Most Creative Agency in the World’. Dave wrote of Nicole that she is ‘genuinely creative’ because she makes ‘stuff happen, often from nothing’. In March 2008, she took a job whose success – or not – would be down to those skills. Nicole founded the Ogilvy & Mather UK Group Digital Innovation Lab.

Chelsea Chen – Co-Founder Emotech Ltd
Panelist: Chelsea is a Co-Founder of Emotech, Ltd., the technology start-up team behind OllyRobot an AI -powered “personality adaptive and emotive” personal assistant. Meaning – no two will be the same and it will adapt to the personality of the owner.
Emotech is a TechCrunch Disrupt London 2015 Battlefield Alum and recently raised $10M in Series A from Lightening Capital and Alliance Capital.
Chelsea is a technologist and creative with diverse global experience, from consumer strategy planning, marketing and brands previously leading OgilvyOne’s team for clients such as Diageo, VW, Nestle and P&G to name a few.
Julia Westland Booth – Founder of HotPostcode. Technology, Data and Analytics – Spencer Stuart. Formerly COO Big Data and Analytics of The Boston Consulting Group
Panelist: Julia is the founder of Prop-Tech start up HotPostcode. HotPostcode is a property app that uses big data and analytics to find the ideal place to live in the UK using criteria people care about like proximity to nearest foodstore, broadband speed, school quality, etc.
Julia’s background is in the design and delivery of technology, digital and data led transformations. Until July this year Julia was the COO of The Boston Consulting Group’s Big Data and Analytics business, which doubled in size in under three years. Julia specializes in helping organizations get started with data and analytics – in 2015 for example she worked with the Chief Data Officer of a major UK bank to shape their data strategy – however, in her work with over 200+ clients around the globe in the last five years her experience spans all industries. Julia has contributed to a number of articles and publications throughout her career at BCG. Julia recently joined Spencer Stuart’s Technology and Data and Analytics practices where she will spend a lot of her time working with Chief Data, Digital and Information officers.
Before joining BCG Julia spent six years at Accenture and two years at The World Bank Treasury Department where she worked with eleven international organizations and country clients, developing case studies and reports to coach Central Bank clients.
Julia has been an Advisory Board member to the Imperial College Business School Masters Degree in Business Analytics since November 2014.
Julia pursued professional studies in Big Data at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology in 2014. Julia has a Master’s Degree in Information Systems Technology and a BBA in International Business from the George Washington University in Washington DC.
Gavin Thompson, Editor, Western Morning Press
Moderator: Gavin is the recently appointed editor of the Western Daily Press, a newspaper which has been the champion of the West since 1858. Gavin leads the editorial team which produces a balance of local, regional and national news and covering topics ranging from business to sport and farming to antiques. Until recently he was assistant editor of the Bristol Post where he was responsible for the title’s business coverage, including reporting on the city’s burgeoning tech sector.
