About the Talk.

Thomas Olofsson is one of Europe’s leading experts on intelligence and cyber threats to business. He is co-founder of Intelliagg. Working with their US counterpart, Darksum, Intelliagg are the first to employ hard data to paint a comprehensive picture of the dark web and its contents. Thomas says;

The dark web is renowned for illicit and illegal trade, unmonitored and anonymous. Not any more. We have successfully penetrated into the darkest parts. We are now using this information to protect companies, governments and individuals.

Founded in 2011, Intelliagg provides intelligence and works with organizations in order to control or evade data loss, reputational damage and targeted cybercrime. They collect and aggregate information that will help businesses deal with cyber threats throughout the entire online world, regardless of language, source or classification, and they provide a suite of professional services to manage their responses to incidents.

Intelliagg provides businesses with actionable intelligence about emerging threats to their business or to individuals within it. They identify credit card theft, for example, before the details are sold on and rogue employees who are acting in a way that will compromise the company. They can also identify threats to individuals.

Thomas will give attendees a live demonstration of sites that can be found that all businesses and high net worth individuals and their security providers should be aware of.

Our Format

We’re delighted to be running monthly Like Minds Business Breakfasts on or around the last Thursday of the month. Sign up to our newsletter on the right to be kept informed of the speakers we’re featuring each month.

The format is informal networking over a breakfast of tea, coffee and pastries, before a brief talk followed by a Q&A session. Guests are invited to stay for as long as they like afterwards and use the 12 Hay Hill co-working space.

A short interview with each speaker will be shot and the event will be blogged and posted in the Articles section of the site by the end of the week.
