According to some people, there’s no such thing as bad weather – any kind of weather, from rain to a sunny day, can be something you can enjoy as long as you have the right perspective. So if you currently think of the weather as either ‘good’ or ‘bad’, it might be time to think again – once you realise that the weather is all good and you can enjoy all of it, your life will become a much less stressful one. Love The Sunshine
Sunshine is something that most people don’t need a lot of help enjoying, so we’ll start there to show you how you can like it even more – and how you can stay safe because, of course, as much as the sun might feel good, it’s also perilous (and that’s an important point to keep in mind).
To get the most out of a sunny day, you need to be outside, but not when the sun is at its hottest and highest – that’s when you run the risk of sunburn, which won’t improve your day or your mood at all. However, when it’s safe to do so, go out for a walk in the park or the local beach and feel the sun on your skin. Or do some outdoor sports if the sun’s not too hot, as being active is always a positive thing.
Go Out In The Rain
What do you do when it rains? If you’re like a lot of people, you’ll stay inside and wait until it stops, complaining about how your plans have been ruined. It doesn’t have to be like that – you can go out in the rain and pretty much do almost anything you had planned to do, and the key is wearing the right clothes.
Firstly, rain is only water, so it’s not going to hurt you, although it might not be too comfortable when you’re wet and cold. That’s why investing in rubber boots and a good raincoat and hat is essential, and when you have them, you can go outside whenever you want.
You can also think of rain as a positive thing even if you don’t go out in it. If you have a garden, for example, let the rainwater do the hard work and keep it looking great – install a rainwater harvesting tank and water tank accessories. You’ll be doing your bit for the planet as well as keeping your garden looking healthy.
Watch The Storms
Storms can be scary for some people, but they’re something quite magical when you stop and watch them, and whether you’re afraid or not, sitting by a window with a hot drink, watching the lightning and listening to the thunder is both thrilling and soothing – depending on your point of view.
You’ll need to find a safe spot to watch the storm, and it’s best not to be outside for this one, just in case. Indeed, the rain won’t hurt you, but lightning definitely can. Then sit back and watch nature do its thing – it’s better than TV any day.
