Tom is co-founder and CEO of The Bakery, an ‘open-innovationt accelerator’, which helps large corporates accelerate innovation, take new technology to market and be more entrepreneurial by partnering with early stage startups.
The Bakery has worked with clients including Unilever, Persil, Sunlight, Knorr, Barclays, BMW, Danone, Panasonic, Heinz, Camelot, RBS, Natwest, Macmillan, ABInbev, Walls and Pernod Ricard and has built an extensive global network of over 5,000 early stage startups and accelerated over 60 new innovative technologies to market.
Previously – after a brief career in the music industry, being signed to Warners and EMI and nominated for a Mercury Music Prize – Tom was the founder of the award winning agency digital agency Traffic, through which his passion for technology and early stage companies grew – and realising that there was a better way for large corporates to take new technology to market.
