Work Hard. Be Good To People. Like Minds connects a wide network of innovative thinkers and doers together at its international events and co-working club locations.

We were founded in August 2009 amidst the boom of Social Media, where communication was drastically changing, and knowledge was overflowing – creating both the opportunity and the necessity for us to act and turn our ideas into reality. Our mission is to create a platform where participants can join fellow like minds in order to inspire one another and make those ideas happen, all on a level that is accessible both financially and structurally.

We are committed to low admission costs, discounts for students and the unemployed, to empowering young minds, to working with local organsations, profiling like minded endeavours, and providing access not just to ideas, but to the actions needed to make those ideas happen.

Our flagship event is the Like Minds Conference, held annually in Exeter, Devon. Through insights, workshops and lunches, an average 300 participants (not delegates) engage with new people over new ideas, and forge the connections to most importantly make those ideas happen. Our first Like Minds Conference was in Exeter, UK in October 2009 and we will be holding our fourth conference in October 2011.

With an international view, Like Minds Conversations run in 6 major cities per year focusing on targeted topics with a maximum of 100 participants in attendance. This is a channel for communities to collaborate with us in addressing a subject in depth that is pertinent to the local community, and will help the community act out new innovations and new ideas. We have now run a number of international events in Helsinki and Paris and head off to New York, Milan and Dubai later in 2011.

Creating a new kind of learning environment, the Like Minds Immersives are born out of the need to narrow, providing in-depth training in specialist subjects, with a maximum of 30 participants. These run primarily in Exeter and London, with our first two focusing on Developing Social Business.

Providing a day like no other, the Like Minds Summit sees 20 leading practitioners invited to join round table discussions with other experienced leaders in their field at luxury venues around the world. Held alongside the Like Minds Conference and international Like Minds Conversations, it provides participants the opportunity to collaborate and network at the highest level.
